La popular firma estadounidense de videojuegos Activision ha confirmado el listado de todas las canciones del próximo Guitar Hero 5. Por lo visto, el repertorio estará formado por 86 temas entre los que podemos encontrar grandes clásicos, sin pasar por alto los éxitos más recientes que han marcado las últimas décadas. Los que quieran empezar a practicar pueden jugar al Guitar Hero gratis a través del teclado de su ordenador. A los demás, les tocará esperar hasta septiembre, fecha de salida prevista para el Guitar Hero 5.
Los artistas invitados a este tour virtual llevan nombres muy conocidos como Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Coldplay, Blur, Kiss, Bob Dylan, Gorillaz, David Bowie, Garbage, Santana o Bon Jovi. Este es el listado que aparece en uno de los discos de canciones para Guitar Hero. Radio Futura, el viejo grupo de la movida, aparecerá en otro de esos discos. Y es que el videojuego se ha convertido en toda una franquicia. Y, sobre todo, en un negocio muy lucrativo para artistas consolidados que sólo tienen que cobrar sus derechos de autor.

Las 86 canciones se podrán ejecutar a través de las consolas Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii y Nintendo DS. Eso sí, hasta el próximo mes de septiembre Guitar Hero 5 no estará disponible para el gran público. La fecha exacta todavía está por confirmar.
